Piano/ Voice since 2022
Sarah attended East Carolina University where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s in Music Performance with a concentration in piano and a minor in voice. While in college she was a member of the North Carolina Music Teachers National Association and Vice President of ECU’s chapter from 2016-2017. She enjoyed singing in choral ensembles and being in a voice studio, as well as playing keyboard chamber music with her colleagues. In her senior year she was given the opportunity to assist in teaching beginning and intermediate individual and group piano classes for music majors and non music majors, which sparked her passion for teaching!
Sarah began taking piano lessons at age 6 and has loved the instrument ever since. She has experience working for international music festivals in arts administration, performing sacred music, and enjoys playing chamber music with colleagues in the triangle area for fun! She is also an active member of the North Carolina Master Chorale where she sings with the symphonic choir and in smaller ensembles. Sarah strives to create a positive environment for students to grow both as musicians and individuals. She tailors lessons to each student individually to ensure a solid foundation in technique, theory, and artistry from which to build upon.
